Once a private exclusive street for the rich and powerful of 19th century Toronto, Jarvis Street boasted many spectacular mansions. Today, only one block of the original mansions remains intact.
The Edward Gallow Mansion, Charles Rundle Mansion, and the Cawthra House have been diligently restored by the current owner and now operate as the Gloucester Square Inns of Toronto. Both of these mansions helped to define the character of Jarvis Street as it was in the 19th century. They have been lovingly restored with many of the original internal and external architectural details still intact.
Our guests can now experience the flavour and style of turn-of-the-century Toronto while enjoying the modern comforts of elegant rooms, luxurious linens, complimentary continental breakfast buffet, Hi-speed internet access, and an in-house spa.
